Lemonade Day! – Foundations we support

We arrived to the U.S. in the 90’s with little and through the years, I watched my dad build his business. His success allowed my brother’s and I to take risks in our own careers, and we were allowed to fail as much as we were allowed to succeed.

I know I wouldn’t have dropped out of college and launched my own business if I didn’t have the confidence to bounce back from the brink failure. I knew if an immigrant with three kids had done it, I could too.

I couldn’t have asked for a better role model, and I know I’m fortunate. This is why one the pillars of Orbiter is to support programs that teach entrepreneurship and develop the next generations of leaders that don’t have those role models in their lives.

An amazing organization that exemplifies this is Lemonade Day. Their mission is to help today’s youth become the business leaders, social advocates, community volunteers and forward-thinking citizens of tomorrow.

We’re working hard to release the beta version of Orbiter.

As a bootstrapped startup, we recognize our donation may be small. However, beyond revenue targets we also have donation goals so we plan to always increase this metric as we grow Orbiter.

Last month we donated $100

This helps equip the next generation of civic and corporate leaders with the life skills, mentorship, and real-world experience needed to achieve their own American Dream, one lemonade stand at a time.

Their mission:
To help prepare youth for life through fun, proactive and experiential programs infused with life skills, character education, and entrepreneurship.

Why we support Lemonade Day:
We arrived to the U.S. and watched our family achieve the AmericanDream through the power of entrepreneurship.

We were fortunate to learn the values, and know how important it is to pass it on to future generations.
